The Quantum Information Group at the University of Cologne’s Institute for Theoretical Physics is led by David Gross. David has been working on quantum information theory since the beginning of his PhD in 2005. The group works on mathematical topics within quantum information, including on characterization and verification of quantum devices, the design and analysis of quantum algorithms, and the theory of stabilizer codes.
Role within QSolid
The University of Cologne will provide methods for certifying the quantum computational advantage achievable by QSolid’s architecture.
